Selva Verde is a lodge dedicated to educating its guests on the wonders
and natural beauty of Costa Rica's unique and fragile tropical rainforest,
beyond its roughly 500 acres of preserved rainforest, the lodge boasts
a resident naturalist, local guides and an ever-expanding reference
library. The lodge provides 45 spacious double rooms with ample natural
light, private bathroom and ceiling fans. Five Casitas ( bungalows)
sleep up to four guests each. The rooms open onto secluded wooden balconies
with hammocks, perfect for absorbing the wonder and serenity of the
rainforest on an afternoon siesta. Restaurant, bar, kayak or raft the
Sarapiquí River, horse riding, natural history guided walks,
birdwatching, mountain bike, tour to Butterfly Garden and Sarapiquí
River boat ride are some of the huge variety of facilities and activities
you will find here.
